Check-Up After Weight Loss

Diagnostics of the body after weight loss: tests, medical consultation, evaluation of metabolism, vitamins and hormones. We help to maintain the result and prevent the consequences of rapid weight loss - comfortably, in Prague, without queues.
Recommended for those who:
  • – Lost a significant amount of weight (10+ kg) in a short period of time;
  • – went through bariatric surgery;
  • – has been on strict diets, starvation or intense athletic training;
  • – wants to monitor the effects of weight loss on metabolism and general health.
Structure (in lab):
ALT, AST, GGT (liver enzymes)
Indicates: the condition and function of the liver.

With rapid weight loss, there is an active mobilization of fats, which creates an additional load on the liver. These tests allow the timely detection of fatty hepatosis, inflammation or the effects of weight loss medication.
Ferritin
Indicates: the level of iron stores in the body.

With weight loss and dietary changes, iron levels may decrease, resulting in anemia, fatigue, dizziness and hair loss. Ferritin is the primary marker for assessing iron deficiency.
Uric acid
Indicates: the level of uric acid in the blood.

Abrupt weight loss can trigger a rise in uric acid and increase the risk of gout, especially on high protein diets or in ketosis. Control is important to prevent joint inflammation.
Electrolytes (Na, K, Ca, Mg)
They show: the balance of the main minerals.

When losing weight, mineral metabolism can be disturbed, especially with fluid loss and limited nutrition. This affects the work of muscles, heart, nervous system, can cause convulsions, weakness, arrhythmias.
General protein
Shows: the total level of proteins in the blood.

Reflects the quality of nutrition and the body's ability to recover. Protein reduction is a signal of insufficient intake of nutrients, especially important after rapid weight loss.
Urine (sediment)
Indicates: the work of the kidneys and urinary system.

Controls the excretion of metabolic products and possible disturbances in the water-salt balance. Especially important in case of intensive weight loss or supplementation.
Glucose (blood sugar)
Shows: fasting blood sugar level.

Weight changes are directly related to carbohydrate metabolism. The indicator helps to assess the risk of insulin resistance or hypoglycemia after diets and operations.
lypidogram
Shows: cholesterol (total, HDL, LDL, LDL) and triglyceride levels.

Reflects how fat metabolism has changed after weight loss. This is important for assessing the risk of atherosclerosis, cardiovascular disease and understanding how much weight loss has affected metabolism.
Vitamin D
Indicates: Vitamin D levels in the body.

Important for immunity, muscle function, energy, metabolism and calcium absorption. With weight loss and dietary changes, vitamin D levels often decrease, affecting overall health and recovery.
