Complex Check-Up for sportsmen

Body diagnostics for athletes and active trainees. Tests, medical consultation, assessment of endurance, hormones, vitamins and recovery after exertion. We help to improve sports performance and avoid overstrain - in Prague, without waiting in line.
Recommended for men and women who:
  • – are actively training (in the gym, endurance, playing or strength sports);
  • – preparing for a marathon, a competition, a fitness challenge;
  •  – returning to sports after a long hiatus;
  • – use sports nutrition or supplements and want to control the effects on the body.
Structure (in lab):
General blood test
Shows: the level of hemoglobin, erythrocytes, leukocytes, platelets.

Helps to identify anemia, inflammation, infections and the general state of the immune system. This is a basic analysis that gives an idea of the state of health and the need for additional examinations.
Ferritin
Indicates: the level of iron stores in the body.

Low ferritin - decreased endurance, impaired recovery, risk of anemia. Especially important in cyclic exercise (running, cycling, triathlon).
Electrolytes (Na, K, Ca, Mg)
Shows: the balance of sodium, potassium, calcium and magnesium in the blood.

Electrolytes are the key to the work of muscles, heart and nervous system. Their deficiency can cause convulsions, weakness, arrhythmias. During active workouts, electrolytes are lost with sweat, especially in hot weather.
Creatinine
Indicates: kidney function.

A high consumption of protein, creatine, and sports nutrition puts an increased strain on the kidneys. It is important to monitor how the body handles the excretion of metabolic waste products.
Vitamin D
Indicates: vitamin D levels in the body.

Involved in muscle function, immune system, testosterone synthesis and recovery. Deficiency reduces endurance and increases the risk of injury.
Liver enzymes (ALT, AST, GGT)
Shows: liver condition.

They help to assess how exercise, diet and sports supplements affect the liver. Elevated indicators may indicate latent inflammation or overload.
Total protein
Indicates: the level of all proteins in the blood.

Protein is the building material for muscles and tissues. The analysis shows whether enough of it comes from food and how it is absorbed by the body.
Urine (sediment)
Shows: presence of white blood cells, protein, salts, bacteria and other elements.

Assesses kidney function, urinary system and hydration levels. Important in case of intense training, especially with supplements or dehydration.
Creatine Kinase (CK)
Indicates: the level of an enzyme that increases with muscle damage.

A marker of muscle loading and recovery. Helps to detect overtraining, hidden injuries or muscle inflammation. Elevated means the body needs more time to recover.
